Women in National
Last year, the Center for a New American Security started a project on getting new audiences to think and talk about issues of gender, inclusivity, and national security. We’ve written reports and hosted events on the topic, and we’ve learned that while some audiences were receptive to sharing, learning, and broadening their views, others were frustrated we were making a big deal out of a matter they considered closed. But among the women we know, it didn’t feel nearly as clear cut. So instead of discussing it abstractly, we asked women in national security – from CEOs to interns – to talk about their experiences. This podcast series goes to the source: their stories, lessons and advice on living and working as a woman in national security.
